Brush motors, as the foundation of motor technology, remain irreplaceable in many fields due to their unique operating principle and structural design. We specialise in the development of brushed motors, optimising brush and commutator design to improve their reliability and energy efficiency.
Principle of operation and core strengths
Brush motors are designed to commutate current through brushes and commutator, and generate torque through the interaction of stator and rotor magnetic fields. Its large starting torque, wide speed range and simple control circuit make it widely used in electric vehicles and industrial equipment. For example, a high-speed brushed motor with a gear reduction system can achieve a smooth speed regulation of 0-20km/h for electric vehicles, and the maintenance cost is lower than that of a brushless motor.
Optimised design for niche areas
We have launched differentiated products to meet the needs of different industries. In the field of electric vehicles, we adopt high-strength wear-resistant gears and overrunning clutches to ensure the stable operation of motors during frequent starts and stops; in industrial equipment, we optimise the heat dissipation structure and brush materials, so that motors can work continuously for more than 5,000 hours. In addition, we have developed explosion-proof brush motors to meet the special safety requirements of the chemical, oil and gas industries.
Future Development Direction
Despite the rise of brushless motor technology, brushed motors still have advantages in specific scenarios. We will continue to improve the brush material and commutator process to reduce friction loss and noise, and explore the integration with intelligent control technology, such as frequency converter to achieve more accurate torque control, to expand its application in automated production lines.
